New Jersey Personal Injury Lawyers

A jury sitting in new Brunswick, NJ recently awarded an injured plaintiff $3 million for injuries sustained in an automobile accident. While driving on Donald Street in Perth Amboy, plaintiff’s vehicle was struck at an intersection and pushed off the road. It was alleged in the ensuing personal injury lawsuit that the driver of the offending vehicle had failed to stop for a stop sign and caused the accident. As a result of the accident, plaintiff sustained a two-level lumbar herniation and a cervical disc bulge. Plaintiff received epidural injections to relieve the pain, but continues to experience residual pain and discomfort, which limits his ability to work. Following a four day jury trial, the jury unanimously awarded plaintiff $3 million in compensatory damages, all for pain and suffering.
