New Jersey Has The Most Dangerous Intersections in America In a recent study () the most dangerous intersections across the United States were evaluated to find which intersections had a history of fatal crashes. New Jersey turned up six spots in the list of 30 with the top 3 positions. Not exactly a list you want to top. The study, which evaluated crash statistics over 20 years, considered an intersection to be considered "dangerous" if there were 3 or more fatal crashes. The results indicate New Jersey has some of the most dangerous roadways in the U.S. The top three positions were roadways in New Jersey and it also took several other spots in the top 30. Here are the intersections noted:

#1 - Lalor Street and SR-129, Trenton

#2 East Jersey Street and US-1&9, Elizabeth

#3 NJ-70 & Massachusetts Ave, Toms River

#9 US Routes 1&9 and East Grand Street, Elizabeth

#25 North Oaks Blvd and US-1, North Brunswich
